July's training theme is "assisted rescues". Assisted rescues should be on every member's list of skills. If you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced kayaker, and you don't feel confident with your assisted rescues, it is highly suggested you attend the July 16 class.
These skills may make the difference between a wonderful paddling day and one where a friend is lost The training will be followed by a one hour paddle.
