  • Level II paddle into park

Registration is closed

After re-checking the weather, we are going to have to change the location of our Saturday paddle from Werner Boyce Salt Springs Park to the Anclote River. Winds will be out of the north east blowing at 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Therefore, the paddle location change. We will be meeting at 9 a.m. at Craig Park (sorry it is a concrete ramp) in Tarpon Sprigs - see Google Map link below. We will be and paddling down to Anclote River Park (about 2.5 miles downriver) have lunch and paddle back. We will be somewhat protected by small islands in the river. We have done this trip before with the winds coming from the north, and since we will be paddling mostly west and east, we had very little problem with the wind.  https://www.google.com/maps/@28.1497563,-82.7499071,15z
