Training will consist of members learning how to perform assisted rescues. Attendees will be versed in how to get back into their boat after a wet exit. They will utilize the heel hook and stirrup techniques. Also, the members will perform T-Rescues that will assist another person safely re-enter their kayak.
No matter your experience level you should consider taking this class. In an emergency this training may save your life or the life of a friend.
The class is limited to 12 participants. Please sign up through the TBSK website. You must have a sea kayak. No inflatable PFDs will be allowed.
