LOCATION CHANGE AND A KAYAK TEST DRIVE DO-OVER
Because of environmental issues we have changed the picnic location to Fred Howard Park, Shelter 4. And the kayak test drive was rescheduled to this month due to weather issues in July. (Kayakers must also know how to "roll" with the punches.)
The test drive process is the same as last month. Return a little early (11:30) from the normal paddles and lend and/or borrow a kayak. The event is voluntary but please register your preference so we can gauge the interest and support needed.
Hamburgers & vegiburgers will be provided by the club. Please bring a dish to share. All paddlers bring water, hat, sunscreen. If the weather looks iffy, check our web site (www.tbsk.club) to see whether the picnic will be cancelled. (We’ll send an email too, but we know sometimes emails can get delayed.)
