Description: Meet at Dunedin Causeway just west of kayak shop at 11:30 a.m. for noon launch to explore the mangroves on the bayside of Honeymoon Island. The plan is to paddle slowly enough along the edge of the mangroves to see the flowers and whatever creatures and birds that might be hiding there. Bring plenty of water and snacks/lunch. PFDs must be worn at all times. Please RSVP for notification of changes or cancellation due to conditions.
Paddle Difficulty: Level I The distance will be approximately 6 miles at leisurely pace. Paddlers must be comfortable paddling in some wind although much of the trip will be protected from wind and waves.
