Hillsborough County is soliciting comments on the draft of the Greenways Master Plan Update through December 4th and at the December 6th meeting of the county Greenways Committee, on which Al Tillson serves as blueways representative.
This plan will shape the county’s future efforts in creating recreational pathways on land for hikers, cyclists, and others as well as aquatic “blueways” for paddle sports.
You can access the draft directly at Greenways Master Plan Update - PublicInput where It appears under the “Draft Plan” heading. You may need to cut and paste this link into your browser. Although the document is quite long, there is a detailed table of contents and it is fully text searchable.
If you wish to submit questions or comments, you may do so by opening the “Draft Plan” section of the top menu (rather than the separate link on the right-hand side of the page) and scrolling down below the line that says “View Draft Plan.” Or you may directly contact Sarah Caper, Executive Planner, Hillsborough County Community & Infrastructure Planning Department at CaperS@HCFLGov.net.
You can also contact Al Tillson directly at altillson@yahoo.com.
