Leisurely paced wilderness viewing on slow moving river with tropical landscape of cypress, oaks, palms. 75% canopied. Common species: white ibis, vultures, herons, alligators, turtles. Lnch stop at Morris Bridge 4.5mi (restrooms, water). Some low branches and tight turns after lunch stop at Morris Bridge. River widens for last mile in full sun.
We will meet at 9:00am. at Trout Creek Park for car shuttle to Sargeant Park (8 miles,11 min) and launch from Sargeant Park 10am. $2 parking fee - pay where you will park for the day; no fee to launch. Bring Lunch, water, whistle, PFD (must be worn).
