We’ll launch from the beach beyond the picnic area and explore the east end of Ft. DeSoto and some of the islands of the Pinellas National Wildlife Refuge. Total distance will be about 8 miles in shallow open water. Bring water, snack or lunch, sunscreen and a hat. No inflatable PFDs please. . Total distance: 8 miles.
