Anclote River park just north of Tarpon Springs. Drive to the shelters along the river and look for the cars with kayak racks. Remember to bring a dish to share. All paddlers bring water, hat, sunscreen. Also, dress appropriately for the weather in "peelable" layers. If the weather looks iffy, check our web site (www.tbsk.club) to see whether the picnic will be cancelled. (We’ll send an email too, but we know sometimes emails can get delayed.)

Kayak Spring Clean Out: Clean out your closets & garage and bring unused kayak items to sell, trade or give away. Put on picnic table next to food area with your name & asking price (if you are selling).

The March training class will have an emphasis on turning strokes. Several of the strokes that will be covered, but not all, are bow rudder, cross bow rudder, bow draw, stern rudders, and various low and high brace turns. Also, in 2017 we will be having several guest instructors to teach at the picnics. The object is to learn more than one way to perform the skills that Eileen and Tom have been teaching.
