Description: Meet at 8:00am for 8:30am launch at Rogers Park at 7244 Shoal Line Blvd in Spring Hill. This is a round-trip paddle that begins upstream against a 2 mph current. We will paddle upstream for 5.5 miles, then float and paddle downstream, stopping for snack along a sandbar. The Weeki Wachee River is spring-fed with 72ºF water, a steady current, and lots of twists and turns. Expect it to be crowded with rented sit-on-tops and SUPs moving downstream. PFDs must be worn (no inflatable PFDs please). Bring water & snack or lunch. There is a parking fee of $5.00 per car at Rogers Park. Contact me if you need directions.

Paddle Difficulty: Level II– Intermediate. Total distance 11 miles. See the Skills Self Assessment Chart on the web site and contact the leader with any questions. Please register on the web site or RSVP to the trip leader to allow notification of any changes.
