The official TBSK New Year's Day Paddle is canceled for tomorrow because of expected high winds. There will be an impromptu paddle for Level III paddlers comfortable paddling in 20-25 knot winds. Impromptu paddlers will meet at Weedon Island at 9:30 AM tomorrow for a 10 AM launch.
There will be no formal trip leaders, no trip along the outside route, and no paddler shuttle. Food transport will be provided by Kathy Selles. If TBSK members would like to meet the paddlers for lunch at Crisp Park in St. Petersburg, they will arrive by 11:30 AM.
