Join us at the monthly meeting (the second Monday) to learn about various kayaking related topics and meet other kayaking enthusiasts.
The speaker for our Monday, February 12th meeting will now be Russell Farrow who organizes the Annual Florida Gulf Coast International Sea Kayak Symposium. He will give profiles of many of the instructors who come from out of town to share their knowledge. You’ve heard the names - now learn their histories and contributions to the sport of kayaking - and come learn from them! Any level of experience is appropriate to attend the symposium from beginner to experienced. There will be classes for all levels. The intent is to become more proficient, more efficient, and to be a safer and more relaxed paddler who thoroughly enjoys being on the water.
As usual, our generous host Bill Jackson’s will provide hot dogs, chips, cookies and soft drinks about 6:45. Please arrive to enjoy the food and camaraderie before the meeting.
The meeting, open to all, begins at 7 p.m. at Bill Jackson’s Shop for Adventure, 9501 US Hwy 19 N in Pinellas Park.
