Description: We will paddle up river to the head spring .. take out for eats. Those who want to camp need to make reservation NOW; Rainbow Springs State Park Campground. Motel option; Dinner Bell Motel .. adjacent to City Hall and Boat Ramp. PLEASE LET THE TRIP LEADER KNOW IF YOU WILL BE COMING THE NIGHT BEFORE !
Location: DUNNELLON BOAT RAMP, 12189 South Williams Street (Highway 41) County Marion City Dunnellon. The Boat ramp paddlers will meet at 8:30 AM and paddle when all who have registered ( and confirmed ) arrive.
Alternate Location: SPRUCE BOAT RAMP (TUBING TAKE OUT), 4863 E Spruce Dr, Dunnellon, FL 34434. Those desiring to do a shorter paddle can put in at this location and meet those coming from the Boat Ramp. This group should be at this location around 9:30. If you will be putting in at this location please provide your cell phone number and be able to answer calls ! PLEASE LET THE TRIP LEADER KNOW IF YOU WILL BE PUTTING IN AT THIS LOCATION.

Difficulty: Level III .. Distance 13.5 miles MOL, (Spruce Boat Ramp 10 miles MOL) paddling up stream against current.
Required : Kayaks 16ft min, fore and after hatches, full deck lines, spry skirt, PFD (no inflatable please) and pump. ( NO SIT ON TOPS OR PADDLE BOARDS please )
What to bring: H20, Eats - all must be in non disposable containers.. hat and sun screen
