Meet Al Tillson (813-832-3961; altillson@yahoo.com) on Sunday September 16th at 8:30 AM for a 9AM launch at Weedon Island Preserve. We will paddle 2-3 hours at a leisurely pace on Bayou Grande and Tampa Bay and (weather and water-level permitting) may explore some of the more accessible parts of the mangroves. (The marked mangrove trail is now closed). Kayaks should be at least 14 feet long with sealed bulkheads. About 6-7 miles MOL. Please reserve with trip leader or on club website to receive more detailed info on launch location and possible last minute changes.
