Description: Red tide finally left us so what about a paddle in South St Petersburg. Will paddle to Gulfport where we will take a break. On the paddle back will explore Clam Bayou.
Location: Maximo Park. Exit I-275 at Pinellas Point Dr. Last exit before interring Skyway Bridge. Park is just west of I-275. Launch site is picnic area on the beach.
Schedule: December 19th 2018. 9:00 am.
Difficulty: Level 2 paddle. We will be paddling about 9 miles with some open water crossings.
Required: A sea kayak of at least 14 ft long with a spray skirt. Will be a cool paddle so dress appropriately. Bring lunch and your usual kayak safety gear.
