Description: In Search of Adventure! Once went with Cynthia on this path and enjoyed it so much I’d like to show it to you. Head for the Gulf through Hurricane Pass, follow the Caledesi coast about 2 miles, take a break then portage about 100 yards into Dunedin Pass. We’ll proceed around Redfish Point then at Scharrer Cut enter the mangrove trail there. Explore the mangrove trail for a mile then exit with about 2.5 miles paddle back to the start.

Plan B if the Gulf is rowdy…we stay on the inside of Caledesi and still follow the mangrove trail.
Location: Dunedin Causeway just W of the Sail Honeymoon concession
Schedule: March 20th. 10:30 am meet for 11:00 launch
Difficulty: Level II, 8 miles. Tides: Low 6:51a (-.51ft), High 12:54p (2.54ft)
Required: Going out into the Gulf and at a Level II speed so 15+ ft boats with sprayskirts only. And of course the other safety equipment described in the website Paddling Guide
