Description: A paddle on this tree lined river which is well protected from the winds. Known for its wildlife and pleasant paddling there are a few downed trees to navigate around and some current but it’s considered an easy trip. Most any boat is welcome, but with 8 miles to cover you'll need to keep up with the group (3 pics of that bird, not 20 of every bird).
Meet at Sargeant Park (12702 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592), be ready by 10am to run a shuttle down to Trout Creek Park. Snack/stretch at Morris Bridge.
Location: John B Sargeant Sr Park, Thonotosassa
Schedule: Ready for a 10am shuttle
Difficulty: Level I+ (+ due to distance), 8 miles downriver
