Limited to 10 students (if more than 10 students are interested, we will form a waiting list and give students on the list priority for the next class). Join in on this fun and interesting class. The location is on a lovely lake at Steve's home. Rescues are an extremely important skill requirement for all TBSK Trips. By learning how to rescue, and be rescued, you become an asset to the safety of the group… and will be more comfortable on the water. This class provides an opportunity to learn and to fine tune your skills plus become updated on techniques that are efficient and effective.
This class is for ALL skills levels and for ALL types of paddle craft (sea kayaks, recreational kayaks, sit on tops, canoes, paddleboards, etc.). As sea kayakers, we sometimes encounter paddlers who need our assistance …and who are not in a sea kayak. A standard “T rescue” will not work for many/most of these boats … but we will show you how you can help these fellow paddlers, as well. The class is Challenge by Choice: you participate according to your comfort level. Don't miss out, join us! See what it is all about.
