Meet @ 9:30 for a 10 am launch. Tide: high 11:40 (2.5 ft)
Launching from Pop Stansell Park in Palm Harbor (797 Florida Ave) we'll paddle out of the bayou into St. Joseph's Sound. Head for Horseshoe Island (one of the Spoils) where we'll stop for a stretch/snack break. Then paddle around another spoil island where the birds have a safe space before returning to Pop park.
Plan is for a leisurely trip of about 5 miles though more muscle may be needed if conditions are challenging in the Sound that day (reason for the plus in the Lev 1+).
