Description: Meet at the boat ramp at Silver Lake State Park on Saturday, June 22 at 9 a.m. for a paddle up the Withlacoochee River. This river twists and turns thru the Croom Wildlife Area in a very natural Florida setting. We will attempt to head north. However, if the water is low, we can always head south from Silver Lake. Bring your curiosity and lunch.
Paddle Difficulty: A Level I+ of about 6 to 7 miles. While we won't be extremely fast, we will be on the water for about 4 hours, with a lunch break along the way.
