Description: Meet at the Dunedin Marina kayak ramp on July 17, Wed., at 8:30 a.m. to unload our boats before we park them about 70 yards away. The two spoil islands we will explore/ clean up are about a mile off shore. At the islands we will do "light cleanup" picking up bottles and cans, and have lunch before returning. TBSK is exploring the possibility of working with Keep Pinellas Beautiful to adopt a spoil island on a permanent basis to keep it clean. This is an exploratory trip to determine the amount of effort required for the cleanup and the level of interest within TBSK to participate in such cleanups. Even if you can't come, please send me an email if you are interested in future cleanups. After you register for this event, I will send you a Google Map on the exact location of the launch.
Paddle Difficulty: Total paddle will be about 5 miles with possibility of some small waves, depending on the weather.
