The Withlachoochee River emanates from the Green Swamp. So we are meeting on Aug 17, Sat., at 9 a.m canoe launch at the Withlachoochee Park in Pasco County (near Dade City) to paddle upriver about 3 to 4 miles into the Green Swamp, find a spot for lunch and then return to our launch point. This trip is for the adventurous who want to paddle places we normally do not go (I have never been to this part of the river). After you register for this trip I will send you a Google Map of the launch point.
Difficulty: Level II because of distance of up to 8 miles.
