Join us at the monthly meeting (the second Monday) to learn about various kayaking related topics and meet other kayaking enthusiasts.
At the January meeting Russell Farrow of Sweetwater Kayaks will discuss their upcoming 25th Annual Florida Gulf Coast International Sea Kayak Symposium. Running from February 21st - 23rd, it will offer a variety of classes, trainings, and assessments suited to the needs of paddlers from beginning to advanced levels. As the name suggests, it usually draws paddlers and instructors from well beyond the Tampa Bay area.
As usual, our generous host Bill Jackson’s will provide hot dogs, chips, cookies and soft drinks about 6:45. Please arrive to enjoy the food and camaraderie before the meeting.
The meeting, open to all, begins at 7 p.m. at Bill Jackson’s Shop for Adventure, 9501 US Hwy 19 N in Pinellas Park.
