An invite from Andy & Mary:
Going to the TBSK picnic on Jan. 18? Why go home early? Paddle both ways! Join Mary and Andy for a 6-mile paddle to the picnic and a down-river return afterwards (total of 12 miles).
Paddle starts at Rotary Riverfront Park at Fowler Avenue and Hillsborough River in Temple Terrace. We will meet at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 launch. Enjoy the scenic river while paddling through the changing riverscape of the Hillsborough River. About 2.5 hours of paddling will bring us to Trout Creek Park to enjoy the TBSK picnic. When we're ready, the return paddle will be a leisurely trip down river to our put-in spot.
