Description: We’ll paddle from the Davis Island sailboat basin up Sparkman Channel past the cruise ship port and convention center, take a break at the new River Center for lunch, then back south around Davis Island.

Location: Davis Island sailboat basin (on right just past the boat ramp)

Schedule: Saturday, February 15th.  We’ll meet at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 launch and plan to return by 1:30.  We’ll plan to eat lunch at the new rowing center across from the Tampa Museum of Art.

Difficulty: Level 2 – We’ll paddle at a moderate pace mostly on protected water, but this paddle will be about 8 miles long.  Will require that paddlers are able to exit and re-enter their kayaks from the low rowing docks.

Required: Non-inflatable PFD, lunch/snack, water/drink, sunscreen
