Meet Al Tillson at 11 a.m. on Wednesday February 19th for an 11:30 launch on the east side of North 4th Street below I-275 for a 3- to 4-hour leisurely paddle around Big Island and along the undeveloped shoreline toward St. Petersburg Airport with a lunch/snack break somewhere along the way. The later launch time will get us a much better tide level.
For beginners and up. Boats must have sealed flotation. Please RSVP on the club website or with trip leader ( altillson@yahoo.com or 813-832-3961) in case weather requires a change of location.
IMPORTANT: those who RSVP will receive directions to the launch site, which may be needed to avoid an unplanned crossing of the Howard Franklin bridge.
