Description: We'll plan to paddle out in the Gulf from Sunset Park Beach (Tarpon Springs) to North Three Rooker Bar, then have time for “skills practice” and relaxation on the beach with a lunch break returning.
Location: Sunset Beach Park, Tarpon Springs
Schedule: Saturday, September 12, 2020. Meet at 8:30 and be gone by 9:00. We will plan to be back by 1:00 unless the weather decides differently.
Additional information: Parking is free. No water connections for boat cleaning. Bring lunch/snack, LOTS of drink, and sunscreen.
Difficulty: Level 2 to 3, distance about 8 miles in open water, may be choppy, must have solid open water skills for this paddle. Refer to TBSK’s Skills Self Assessment Chart and contact the leader with any questions.
Required: Sea kayak at least 15' with water-tight bulkheads, decklines, spray deck. and wear a Non-Inflatable PFD. Please register (or cancel) on the website or RSVP to the trip leader to allow notification of any changes

1. Maintain appropriate “social distance” from other paddlers at all times
2. Bring hand sanitizer for use after handling someone else’s boat.
