Description: Meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Picnic Island Kayak Launch located in south Tampa. (If you register for the paddle, we will provide a map.)
We will launch and enter a mangrove tunnel, paddle about 1/2 mile to some more mangroves which are close to McDill AFB. After paddling the mangroves, and hopefully limiting the number of times we get lost, there is a small beach for a rest and snack before heading back.
Paddle Difficulty: This is a paddle of about 3 miles at a recreational pace.
