Revision: An fyi that for tomorrows Honeymoon Island trip to Pelican Cove I'm changing the plan due to a high NE winds and wave forecast. Same launch point (just west of Sail Honeymoon) but we'll be following the western shore of Honeymoon to stay in the wind shadow. Assuming we'll follow the shore to the north end of Honeymoon it'll be just over 8 miles total.

Description: Starting on the south side of the Dunedin Causeway just west of Sail Honeymoon boat rental (you know, the typical launch point) we’ll go under the causeway bridge then follow the east shoreline of Honeymoon Island. Explore Pelican Cove, stop for a snack/stretch on the beach, maybe a swim then return. About 8 miles.
Schedule: Meet at 9:30 for a 10:00 launch.
Additional information: Level 2 due to distance and a brisk pace. Bring a boat that will maintain a 3 mph pace. If there is consensus and favorable conditions we may circumnavigate Honeymoon (adds another mile).
