Coaches: Jean Totz, Tom Joseph, Jill Lingard

Description: This class is designed to strengthen paddling skills for Level 2 trips. Bracing is a skill that prevents capsizing. Edging helps you maneuver your kayak more effectively, especially in challenging conditions produced by wind and waves. This class is open to all skill levels. Limited to 6 students so we can keep a 2:1 student-to-instructor ratio.

What to bring: Face mask (or goggles and nose plugs), paddle float.

Schedule: Arrive by 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 16.  Be ready to launch by 8:30 a.m.

Location: Shelter No. 1, Phillippe Park, 2525 Philippe Parkway, Safety Harbor
