Who doesn't love a Florida spring? SpringsWatch, a program launched by the Howard T. Odum Florida Springs Institute, offers paddlers a fun citizen science opportunity to give back to the waters they enjoy so much. This past July, TBSK member Jill Lingard became the statewide volunteer coordinator for SpringsWatch. At our November 8th meeting, Jill looks forward to sharing the story of her transition from springs lover to springs steward through this program and explaining how others can turn a fun day at the springs into useful research that supports them.
