Description: Let’s figure out how to get back in or on our boats after a capsize! Rescues are perishable skills—even if you’re familiar with them, it’s important to practice them regularly. We’ll focus on wet exits, assisted rescues, self-rescues, and using assistive tools like paddle floats and stirrups. This session is open to paddlers of all skill levels and sit-in or sit-on-top kayaks. Come prepared to fall over, get wet, sort out situations, and laugh a lot!
What to bring: Spray skirt, paddle float, stirrup, dive mask, nose plugs. If you do not have these items we can provide them.
