Description: We'll paddle from the north end of the Fred Howard beach over to Three Rooker. No rush break, walk the beach.
Location: Fred Howard Beach in Tarpon Springs (park/launch on north end)
Schedule: Wed Nov 10th. Meet at 8:30 and be GONE by 9:00.
Additional information: There's a $5 parking fee (or Pinellas pass). No water connections for boat cleaning. Low tide 10:37 (0.03ft). Forecast currently looks great (63 low, 79 high, dry, part cloudy, light NE wind)
Difficulty: Level 2, distance is at least 5 miles (likely 7), open water crossing, may be choppy, must have open water skills (See Skills Self Assessment Chart link below for level assignment.)
Required: Sea kayak at least 15' with water-tight bulkheads, decklines, and spray deck; no inflatable PFDs. Bring lots of water/sports drink, snack, sunscreen.
