Schedule/Location: Meet Al Tillson at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday November 13th to launch at 10:00 from the Pinellas side of Gandy Bridge near Urban Kai.
Description: We’ll paddle south in the bay and along the eastern edge of Weedon Island Preserve, hopefully encountering the large collection of white pelicans who arrived there a few weeks ago. We’ll paddle about 3 hours and about 6 – 7 miles with a lunch/snack stop along the way.
Requirements: Boats should be at least 15 feet long and have deck lines and/or grab loops, as well as sealed bow and stern flotation.
