Trip title: Cooper Bayou to Philippe Park, Level 1+ (+ due to miles)

Description: Tides are finally high mid-day so I'd like to paddle this enjoyable Bay trip. We'll launch from Cooper's Bayou Park and go through the short mangrove trail that takes us to Cooper Point. From there it is about 2.5 miles along the shore to Philippe Park, passing (maybe stop at?) the Safety Harbor Waterfront Park. Beach at Philippe for a casual break (snacks if you have 'em) before returning to Cooper's.
Bathrooms at both Philippe and Safety Harbor Waterfront Parks. The launch point at Cooper's is a bit narrow. Parking is free.
If anyone is interested I'd like to stop at the Barfly restaurant after the paddle. Main Street, Safety Harbor across from the Spa.
Location: Cooper's Bayou Park address is 709 N Bayshore Blvd, Clearwater.
Schedule: Wed Jan 26th. Let's gather at 9:00 and be ready to paddle by 9:30. Casual pace (and beach break) for about 7 total miles so we should return by 1:00p -ish.
Additional information: High tide @ 11:36a (1.11 ft). Current forecast is 65 partly cloudy, light N winds.
Difficulty: Calling this a Level 1+ since the pace will be casual (note I didn't say slow) and we'll be near shore. The + plus is due to it being around 7 miles. If winds create chop in the bay we might stay in the protected Bayou.
Suggested: Most any boat will do but hoping you're not bringing your slowest boat.
