Sunset Beach to Anclote River

Description: We'll paddle from Sunset Beach (Tarpon Springs) to Anclote River Park, then upriver to one of the spoil islands south of the Sponge Docks before returning to Anclote River Park for a Lunch/Snack break before returning to Sunset Park about 2pm.
Location: Sunset Park (1800 Gulf Blvd., Tarpon Springs)

Schedule: Wednesday, March 8th. Meet at 9:30 and be GONE by 10:00
Additional information: No charge for parking, no water connections for boat cleaning
Difficulty: Level II, distance of 7 to 10 miles, some in open water, may be choppy due to expected windy conditions, must have open water skills (See Skills Self Assessment Chart link below for level assignment)
Required: Sea kayak at least 15' with water-tight bulkheads, decklines, and spray deck; no inflatable PFDs. Bring lots of water/sports drink, lunch, sunscreen.
