Ft. DeSoto, Arrowhead to Irma Pass

Description: We will paddle from Arrowhead to Irma Pass and back. Will travel on the outside from Bunces Pass, (weather permitting) up to the pass and return on the inside mangrove area. Will paddle through some mangrove tunnels for fun if water level permits.
Location: Arrowhead Picnic Area, Ft. DeSoto Park
Schedule: Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023. Meet at 8:30ish am. Launch by 9:00 am. Approximate return 12 noon for Picnic
Additional information: Public restrooms are available.
Difficulty: Level 2-2.5, approximately 7 mile round trip (0.5 added due to open water conditions) Open water experience required.
Required / suggested / restricted: Kayaks 15’ or longer. PFD and spray skirt worn. No inflatable PFD's., sun protection. Bring plenty of water/drink.
