Description: We'll assemble at the beach near picnic shelter #9 in Maximo Park. Paddle south to explore Indian Key. We’ll pitstop at Indian Key (swim, snack, roll, rest etc.) then paddle back to the beach by 12:00 for the TBSK Picnic Lunch and gear sale.
Location: Maximo Park – Shelter #9
Schedule: Saturday, February 17th. Meet at 9:00 with a departure time of 9:30

Difficulty: Level I, distance of 4 miles, mostly protected inland waters. (See Skills Self Assessment Chart link below for level assignment)
Required: Sea kayak at least 14' with water-tight bulkheads, deck lines, and spray deck; no inflatable PFDs. Bring water/sports drink, snacks, and sunscreen.
