Description: We will paddle and explore the inlets and mangrove areas around Fort DeSoto and then head over to the picnic. Launching from the 'Hole in the Wall' just north of the Fort Desoto Campground. Total distance 3-5 miles.
Arrive by 9:00 am and launch by 9:30 am.

Schedule: Saturday, April 20, 2024. Arrive by 9:00 am, meet on shore for trip briefing at 9:30 am and then launch. Paddle from 9:30am-11:30am returning in time to pack up and move to the picnic location.
Additional information: Public restrooms are ACROSS the street.
Difficulty: Rec + L1
Required / suggested / restricted: Recreational kayaks, sea kayaks, and SUPs. No inflatables. Standard PFD worn with whistle; secure closed-toe water shoes. Bring water and a snack. Appropriate sun protection and sunscreen. Hat, sunglasses, long sleeve quick dry shirt suggested.
