Description: We will paddle south along the Skyway by Indian Island. Play in a sheltered shallow area and them paddle back for lunch.
Location: Maximo Park Picnic Pavilion Beach Area – St. Petersburg, FL
Schedule: Meet at 10:00 AM and launch by 10:30. Paddle out to protected paddle area, practice rolls/play, and return to the launch for lunch
Additional information: Public restrooms are available.
Difficulty: Level 2
Required / suggested / restricted: sea kayaks, spray skirts, PFD worn with whistle, and water. Bring lunch for afterwards Appropriate sun protection and sunscreen. Hat, sunglasses, long sleeve quick dry shirt suggested.
