Meet 9:00am launch 9:30am at Dunedin Causeway west of High & Dry Grill

Let’s help restore Caladesi Island State Park and show TBSK cares about the places where we paddle. Park managers have requested our assistance in removing debris left by last years’ hurricanes in the mangrove tunnels.

Requirements: PFD worn Highly suggested: plenty water, snacks, sunscreen, gloves, long sleeve shirt, hat, bug spray. Bring along a picnic lunch. Trash collection bags provided by park rangers.

Distance: 5-6 miles with ability to move kayak effectively through the mangrove tunnels. Boats 12-15 feet are ideal with bungee lines to secure items collected or open cockpits

We will be able to land at no charge and picnic at the park’s marina and meet with rangers to learn about hurricane damages
