Trip title: November Picnic Paddle Rec/Level I – LIMIT 10 PADDLERS

Description: We’ll paddle for about 3 hours either up the river or along the coast as determined by conditions and group interest.
Location: Anclote River Park. Park in the usual lot past the power boat launch area and the beach. Riverside launch is about 50 yards away.
Schedule: Saturday Nov 15th . Meet at 9AM for a 9:30 launch. We’ll be back around 11:30- for the picnic.
Additional information: Restroom near the parking lot.
Difficulty: Rec/Level 1. About 2 hours and 4 – 5 miles.
Required / suggested / restricted: Be sure to bring plenty of water, lunch/snack, sunscreen, insect repellent, and footwear that will protect you against possible oyster shells at take outs. The water temperatures have dropped, so it’s important to DRESS FOR POSSIBLE IMMERSION: avoid cotton clothing and include a waterproof outer shell. All boats should be at least 10 feet long and have sealed flotation and bow and stern grab loops and/or deck lines.
