Join the Tampa Bay Sea Kayakers for our first overnight camping trip this paddling season! We will have three paddles - Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 trips all leaving on October 22nd to rendezvous at Shell Key and return on October 23rd. We will camp on the beautiful gulf-side beach and spend time relaxing around the campfire. This is a great opportunity to practice your kayak-camping skills with experienced paddlers. You will be required to bring your own camping gear and food. Level 2 Shell Key Camping Trip Description, Launch Site

Launch: Saint Pete Marina Public Boat Ramp. Contact the trip leaders for special parking instructions. There is a fee to leave your vehicle overnight.
Trip distance: This trip is 13 nautical miles from the launch to the Gulf side of Shell Key. This is a total distance of 26 nautical miles over 2 days.
Launch Time: The group will meet at 9:00AM and launch when everyone is ready.
